Taking a moment to breathe!

  

So I know I haven't blogged in a couple of days and I do apologize to those who look forward to a new post from me. I had to step away from the computer and get me thoughts together (still doing that) and regroup. I can write all the time but at some point you have to give your brain a break. I don't want to overload my mind and then get writers block. Its happen to me plenty of times...Lol I just wanted to keep you all in the loop and let you know that I appreciate all the support that you give me. Now I do have a little to talk about but it won’t be as much as I normally write.

So, I was hit on by this young man (he was 21 years old) and it was the cutest thing ever! I was just shopping at Krogers and of course I was looking cute (tights, shirt, boots, and jean jacket). However I didn't think anyone would approach me. I was at the self checkout line and out of know where here comes this boy smiling so hard. I was thinking to myself why is this boy smiling so hard at me...Lol He was about 6'2, light skin, nice built and he had a beautiful smile. Unfortunately, he had a baby face which gave away his age. He was very mature and well mannered and his approach was smooth. I was blushing I'm not going to even lie but as soon as he told me his age I was done. So, let me tell how it went.

He came over and told me that I was beautiful and I thanked him. He still lingered around and he asked me my name. I told him my name and he told me that I had very pretty name.(while still smiling hard) I thanked and continued scanning my items that I was purchasing. He asked me if I was single and I told him yes and he said he couldn't believe that I was single. He still lingered right by me and I was thinking to myself If I haven't given you indication that I'm interested why not walk away. I think he stayed because I was smiling. (Only because it was cute) After I asked him his age, I then asked him how old did he think I was. He smiled and said confidently "you about 25 but no older than 28" at this point I'm really smiling now...Lol I told him sweetie that is so sweet but not even close. He wanted to ask me my age but said he didn't want to be disrespectful by doing so. I told him it was okay to ask and he went right in and asked. I told him that I was 34 years old with a 12 year old daughter. He was like he has a two year old little girl. (My thought baby momma drama, hey she's a baby and I'm sure if they not together but they still messing around. I’ve been there I know what I'm talking about) It was cute and I told him that I had appreciated his compliment but we weren't going to be kicking it. He told me age is just a number and I said yes it is but I'm not a cougar..Lol He stayed all the way until finished and even put my groceries in the cart for me. I thanked him again and he tried to get my number again. The answer was still no but he told me how beautiful I was again and walked away. I was blushing the whole time but I know that I am not dating anyone who is under the age 27 because I would feel like a cougar. Even though I know you have to be in your 40's or 50's to be considering one but still he could be my little brother... Nope not going to happen but it felt good to know I still got it...lol

Update: Mr. NCM (from my previous post Mr. True Colors) is older than me and not younger which makes it horrible that he seems to have no confidence but what the heck he's entertaining and I need a good laugh now and again..Lol
