My Journey to Georgia cont.. Part 6
We talked everyday and we wrote to each other off and on. I was listening to my heart instead of my head and I was excited about talking to him again. I knew there was a connection there because when we talked it was like talking to my soul mate. He moved down to Georgia to be with his little girl. I was okay with that because he told me that he was living with a roommate and not his daughter’s mom. I asked him what was the reason he kept on looking for me at the stadium. He said the reason why he kept searching for me at the stadium was because he had fallen in love. I couldn’t believe that he could fall in love the first time he seen me. He wanted me to come down to see him in Georgia. I was a little apprehensive about coming down because we had only been talking for three months. The crazy thing is my Godmother was talking about moving down to Georgia. I was so excited and couldn’t wait to let him know that I might be coming down to Georgia to live as well.
In July, My Godmother was packed and ready to move. It was a long trip and very cramped but I was more excited about meeting up with my new boo. When we finally got to Georgia I immediately fell in love. I vowed and wrote in my journal that this is the place I want to move to once I have a child. Once we got settled in I called him and told him that I had arrived in Georgia. He had to work but told me he would call me later to get directions. I called my cousin who lived down in Georgia to. He went to Morehouse College and he asked me to come to the campus. I didn’t have to think to hard about going to see him at all. I was down for go to an all boys college.I almost forgot that my friend was coming to see me and had to come up with something quick to change our meeting plans. I called him and told him that I was going out with my godmother and that he would have to come see me another day.Yes, I lied but I wanted to go see the guys at Morehouse. He was pissed off and I could tell because he just hung up without saying good bye. I just shrugged it off and kept it moving. ..lol. Mind you I would’ve been mad to because he was on his way to me. I was in Norcross and he was coming from Stone Mountain/Memorial Drive. He was suppose to call me before he was on his way and he waited until the last minute to tell me that he was half way there.
I went to Morehouse and met up with my cousin and immediately the guys where boasting about my cousin having females visiting him. He told them that I was his cousin and the females were not related to him. It was like walking into a horney pack of wolves. We walked around the campus and met some of his friends. Me and my god sister did wind up with two guys number. We had planned on meeting up with them later on that week. The next day I finally met up with my friend (daughter’s father) he called when he was pulling up. I went outside to meet him. He looked so freaking cute and all I wanted to do was stare into his eyes. He came over to me and swept me off my feet and swung me around. (corny but sweet). We just hug for what seemed like forever. I sat down on the step and he sat below me and laid his head in my lap. He was telling me how much he loved me and how he wanted us to be together forever. I already knew in my mind that I had to let him know that I didn’t feel the same way. I was scared to let him know because I didn’t know what his reaction was going to be. It took me about ten minutes to get my words together to let him know how I felt. I simply told him that I was not in love with him but I did care about him a lot. I said that we have to get to know each better before I can say that I loved him. He looked at me like I just took a dagger to his heart. His face was so red and his nose was flared up like he was about to charge at me. His facial expression change and now he was scaring me, he asked me to come and take a ride with him. I asked if he was okay and he said yes but being very sarcastic. His eyes were low and he now had a smirk on his face. I told him that I would have to talk to him later and he had to leave. He gave me a kiss and jetted off to his car. He looked back at me and shook his head then got in the car. He speed off leaving tire marks in the driveway. As soon as I went in the house the phone rang and I picked it up. It was him on the other end pissed off… to be cont..
